1. All MPA guidelines and National Federation rules will apply.
2. Varsity and JV schedules should be completed and submitted to the assignor by September 15th of the upcoming season. Freshman schedules will be completed by October 15th.
3. For postponed games, every effort should be made to play on the first available day. The athletic administrator of the home team should contact the officials assigned, check if they are available to officiate on the make-up date, then call the assignor to have the rescheduling completed.
4. Game Time - JV games will begin no later than 5:30 pm unless mutually agreed upon by both schools. A 15 minute Varsity warm up should begin immediately after the conclusion of the JV game.
5. Championships for Division I (Class B) will be determined by the combination of two criteria: 1. best win - loss record of all 18 games, AND 2. final heal points. If one team is first in both catagories, that team will be conference champions. If two different teams are first in a each catagory, head to head competition will break the tie. If still tied, final heal points will determine conference champion.
Championships for Division II (Class C/D) will be determined by the win - loss record of games ONLY within the division. If a tie exists, the head to head results of the tied teams will be used. If stilled tied, Heal Points standings will be used.
6. The Athletic Administrator responsible for WMC basketball and the president of the WMC basketball coaches organization will schedule and conduct preseason and postseason coaches meeting.
7. The Varsity Coach at each school should bring the Final Results Form to the post season coaches meeting. (form used to determine conference champions)
8. All Conference selections for each division will be chosen by the coaches at the annual post season meeting.
B Div: 15 total selections: 5 players each placed on 1st , 2nd , and 3rd team
C Div: 10 total selections: 5 players placed on 1st and 2nd team
Both Div: Honorable mentions will not be selected. However, if a school wishes to recognize students in this manner, they may do so on their own.
9. The WMC does not endorse any All-Star contest which would violate the MPA Sports Season Policy.
10. Shoot-a-round Procedure: After the visiting team arrives, players, students, and spectators will not be allowed on the floor.
11. The WMC recommends that the Robert E. Butler Award be announced and presented to the recipients during their schools annual winter awards night. It is also recommended that Mr. Butler be extended an invitation to the awards night and given the opportunity to present the award. Official notification, announcement or presentation of this award will not occur at any non-WMC sponsored all-star event.
12. The host school will provide 12 MPA approved basketballs for pregame warm up, 6 balls per team . Balls will be placed at half court.

Individual coaches will be responsible for reporting results to any other local media.
12. Larry LaRochelle will assign officials for ALL WMC basketball games. This includes: pre and post season exhibition / round robins, regular season, and Holiday Tournaments.

14. First allowable practice: - Monday, Nov. 17
Opening Date: - Friday, Dec. 5 (after 3:00 PM)
Last Countable Game: - Friday, Feb. 6 (make-up 7th)
15. Sportsmanship issues / incidents involving players, opposing coaches, parents, and spectators should be brought to the attention of the Athletic Administrator as soon as possible.
